Sue Gross - Assistant Conductor
Mrs. Sue Gross is a creator/ founding member of the HSO, HSO Assistant Conductor for 27 years and HSO Principal Violist for 22 years. Sue has studied Viola since the 3rd grade and was under the tutelage of Mr. Clyde Mummert. Sue has been the string director (grades 3-8) as well as taught essential music (grades 1-8) and SGI choral director (grades 5/6) in the Spring Grove Area School District for 34 years. Sue is a multi-instrumentalist and conductor playing and conducting with various local ensembles. Sue is also the interim handbell choir director at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hanover.
