HSO Audition Information
Every Seat Matters. What that means is that every player in our orchestra needs to "carry their own musical weight." To make sure new players are capable of playing our music, auditions are held via video submission. But don't let that word "audition" frighten you! We just want to make sure that each player has the skills to play our music and not only feel good about their contribution but to help us make "every seat matter" in performances.
Who would be a good player for our group? Advanced high school (ages 14 and over) or college level string players, string teachers, semi-professional players, those who have played in college but have not had an outlet to play and are now ready to reclaim their music and give back to their community!
